Psychological Abuse
If you are a Christian you are claiming that every cute little baby is a bad & terrible person who is guilty of uncanny sin and the only way they can become good is if they give their life Jesus.
« Children's Coloring book Title: "GOD LOVES YOU!" Published by Gospel Light, Ventura, CA
The coloring book by Gospel Light, that is intended for children, sums up how immoral it is to teach Christianity to children. This book starts off by telling children they have done wrong, are selfish, have disobeyed their god and have hurt others. The picture shows a sad kid feeling guilty sitting under a tree with his dog ashamed of him. In more or less words this is the message Christianity tells innocent children, that they have done wrong and should be ashamed of themselves. And also that the only way they can make up for all the wrong they (didn't) do is by worshiping a guy named Jesus.

| Segregation & Labeling
Believers automatically label their children with their parent's religion the day they are born. No one would label an infant by his or her parent's political party because we know they are too young to make such opinions or worldly views yet we do this with religious views. Children are commonly isolated from other children based on the faith they were born into. Children can even commonly be seen making hateful remarks to other children whose parents are of another faith when the topic arises because their differences are constantly drilled into them by parents and church groups. As they grow each child embarks on opposing rules and life views then their discriminating views are passed down to the next generation.

Brainwashing
Young children have not yet developed the psychological faculties to defend themselves against manipulation. By nature they are very influential to what they are told in the earlier years and religion takes advantage of this. Emotional activities, music, dancing and telling kids they are chosen and important to a magical god encourages them to profess faith. They are taught faith is everything and to subconsciously reject anything that says otherwise. Common youth programs such as F.R.O.G. are candy coated campaigns for tricking kids to Fully Rely on God and to never question what the church says about him. The Christian Church knows children are the future so various "kid friendly" organizations have targeted kids with religious propaganda leaving them a distorted view of the world.
Many parents are sincere in their beliefs and they truly want what is best for their kids, but is sincerity enough to justify what can only be called blatant manipulation of children's emotions? Children should be nurtured and taught the basic facts of life then allowed to make their own viewpoints based on what they learned. If a parent is confident in their beliefs then there is no need to push religion on a child before they are old enough to make rational decisions and personal believes.
